"Last Saturday's Walk & Talk Tour, led by Sampson Levingston of Through2Eyes, was fantastic. We learned about the history of Indiana Avenue, including Madame Walker, the Ransom Place neighborhood and Crispus Attucks High School, the Jazz Masters, and the magnificent old buildings which were demolished to make way for ugly parking lots and IUPUI. My favorite Indianapolis street is Indiana Avenue, and the mural of the Jazz Masters is one of my favorites. I could have toured all day! Thank you, Sampson Levingston!" - Greg W.
"Sampson's love of history and inquisitiveness are infectious, and he shares so much great information!" - Beth S.
"I have learned soo many new and different historical facts about Indiana that I never knew before! Awesome and informative! Sampson knows his stuff and presents it in a fun, entertaining, and passionate way." - Andrea G.
"Although I grew up in Indy and remember a lot about Indiana Avenue and it’s history, it’s been a long time. Samson knows so much about this history and is so very knowledgeable about the area. Seeing it thru his eyes 👀 was really worth the trip.
His enthusiasm is contagious also. If you go be sure and be prepared to walk and take pictures." - Judy W.
"A huge thank you to Sampson with @through2eyesindiana for providing an amazingly informative and educational “Walk & Talk” tour of Indiana Avenue. THIS WAS INCREDIBLE👏🏽 Learning our rich history and more about the work of black artists, entrepreneurs and musicians whose success inspired so many has been beyond inspirational. Today I walked among great teachers of Indiana & walk away from my first appearance with a greater appreciation and knowledge of the great city of Indianapolis💛 #IndianaAve #MrsIndiana2020 @ Indianapolis, Indiana"
