SOLD OUT
In honor of Dr. King’s FREE visit to Indy in December of 1958, we’ll be “FREE FOR THE CITY” on MLK Day.
If you didn’t get “Free For The City” Walk & Talk tickets, we’d still like to invite you to the KVML (543 Indiana Avenue) this Monday, January 16th to celebrate with us. Some people have already communicated that they may not be able to attend, so we are anticipating extra space on both the 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM Walk & Talk.
It was important for me to bring Black business back to the Avenue. The Black WorldSchoolers Mobile Bookstore and Nap or Nothing Truck will arrive between 1:30 and 2:30 PM and will be on-site for a few hours as we celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
I can’t thank the KVML enough for hosting us. The museum will be open and offering FREE admission from 10 am to 6 pm. I truly appreciate GANGGANG for the value they see in my work and reaching out to sponsor a 2nd “Free For The City” Walk & Talk.
