Was Darrell Hazell the Worst Coach EVER?

I'm sure Darrell Hazell is a great person, and an outstanding wide receivers coach (now with the Minnesota Vikings), but there is a case to be made for Hazell being THE WORST HEAD COACH EVER. There are actually plenty of reasons that have lead me to believe that Hazell just might be the WCE (Worst Coach Ever).

1.) In 2011, Hazell took the reigns of the Kent State Golden Flashes, leading them to a below average record of just 5-7.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: In 2012, Dri Archer (arguably fastest man ever) returned to the field after missing the 2011 season due to academic reasons. Archer returns and Kent State finishes 11-3, that off-season he left Kent State to become the new head man at Purdue.

2.) Purdue's record during his tenure... 9-33 overall, 3-24 in the B1G, and 4 of those 9 total wins against FCS opponents (2 against us while I was playing at Indiana State).

3.) Two QB's left Purdue while Hazell was at the helm and managed to have success as starters in the SEC, but somehow they weren't good enough to play the position in West Lafayette.

4.) Jeff Brohm came from Western Kentucky and turned Purdue into winners again in less than 365 days! Purdue won as many B1G games in 2017 as they did during Hazell's tenure, 3.

Not sure if Hazell is WCE, but it's a definite possibility.
